Nathan Ware holds a bachelor’s degree in English from Duke University, as well as a master’s degree in Professional Writing, with a Creative Writing concentration, from Kennesaw State University. He has studied in Scotland at both the University of St. Andrews and the University of Aberdeen. Since 2009, he has served as a contract proofreader for the University of Georgia Press, along with shorter stints at University of New Orleans Press and Ave Maria Press. After five years as a USPS letter carrier, he now writes and edits for the Catholic Diocese of Savannah.
At present, he is actively trying to get his novel published, a combination of historical fiction and epic fantasy. When not reading history or playing the banjo, he loves to go adventuring with his wife of ten years and their two children. Together they have soaked up the beauty of the swamps, rivers, and barrier islands of Georgia, where they reside.
